SELLARONDA BIKE DAY 10.06.2023 - THANK YOU!
The 17th edition of the Sellaronda Bike Day, the day dedicated to crossing the four passes around the Sella massif by bicycle, took place successfully today, both in terms of participation and the enthusiasm of those who took part.
The sunny morning allowed many cyclists to complete the tour without rain. Around midday, a few short bursts of rain forced cyclists to take breaks, but this did not dampen spirits.
The number of participants (around 20,000) matched that of the last very successful editions. The participants came mainly from Italy (many from South Tyrol), Germany, Suisse, Austria, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Holland and Belgium, but also from several Asian countries, as well as from the USA.
The organising committee emphasises that it is only possible to organise such an event thanks to the good cooperation between the valleys, the commitment of the many volunteers and the support of the local and provincial public administrations.
The autumn edition of the Sellaronda Bike Day is planned for 16 September 2023.
