Also this year 1 euro was given again as a donation for every sold "Sellaronda Bike Day" cycling jersey and this time it has been for the "South Tyrol Sport Aid" association which supports young sport talents.
During the "Ski World Cup" race weekend in Val Gardena the revenue has been handed over in form of a check of 3,000 € by the organizing committee of the "Sellaronda Bike Day" to the managing director of the "South Tyrol Sport Aid".

Sunday, on the 23. June 2013 from 8.30 am until 3.30 pm o'clock all the Dolomites passes around the Sella Group (Sella, Gardena, Pordoi and Campolongo) will be reserved to the bicyclists.

For the third time also in September (15.09.2013) all Dolomite's passes round the Sella (Sella, Gardena, Pordoi and Campolongo) will be closed for motorized traffic and accessible only for cyclists.

On the occasion of the Sellaronda Bike Day, which took place on Sunday, June 24th 2012, the nearly 20.000 participants have proved that they haven't just athletic ambitions, but also a heart of gold. The idea to help people in need – in this case those hit by the destructive earthquake in North Italy – was born on www.facebook.com/VGardena. Val Gardena – Gröden Marketing has picked up the idea and involved also the other valleys around the Sella massif (Alta Badia, Val di Fassa and Arabba). The common initiative themed "1 Pass – 1 Euro" has been launched in occasion of the Sellaronda Bike Day and has achieved big success. In the urns has been collected € 5.100,00 in total. The organizing committee has following doubled the amount, so that finally € 11.000,00 could be donated. The cheque has been handed over to the deputy mayor of Mirandola in occasion of the "Maratona dles Dolomites". This race took place on Sunday, July 1st, 2012. The sum will be used to restart the numerous sporting activities which must have been stopped after the earthquake.
